Vehicle-specific head units

Developed per named vehicle and year range — large-screen and small-screen dedicated models.

Built per vehicle, not adapted to it

A vehicle-specific head unit starts from one car's dashboard: its aperture, its trim lines, its mounting points. AUROADOR's dedicated range covers 16 catalogue models — eight large-screen and eight small-screen — each documented with a named fitment, most of them bounded by year. The brand describes its development approach as model-specific moulds and customised systems, and its catalogue backs the claim with the kind of unglamorous specificity that matters: 2015–2017 for the Forester XV, 2006–2015 for the Magotan CC, 2018–2022 for the Sprinter.

The brand states that the dedicated approach extends to more than 1,000 vehicle models and over 90% of vehicles across its full fitment database; the 16 models documented on this site are the catalogue's published dedicated lines. Range-level features, as the brand describes them: an HD touch display, wireless CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free, a global-band radio and an open Android system. Per-model truth stays in each model's own listing.

Small-screen dedicated models (7–8.4″)

How to brief a dedicated fitment

Year windows are the contract. A unit documented for 2017–2020 CR-V is not documented for the 2023 car, whatever the dashboards' family resemblance. When you source a dedicated model, lock three things in writing: the exact vehicle and year range, the memory configuration, and the fitment-manual entry that covers your market's version of the car. The support page explains how to get an exact fitment answer with a dashboard photo.
